As usual the epileptic power supply in the country was at its effective best Saturday, when at a political rally in Owerri, the Imo capital during the speech given by President Goodluck Jonathan, the power went out.
Some attendees at the rally, waited expectantly for the president’s next move. What they got must have been slightly amusing.
The president’s response when power was restored was typically Nigerian. “Thank God we are back, no demon shall stop us.”
Does he mean the demon that is our poor power infrastructure?
